CHECK-IN POLICY

  • The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age to be able to check into Coconut Peninsula.
  • The usual standard check-in time is 12PM.
  • The usual standard checkout time is 10AM.
  • It is mandatory for all guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in. According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID must be carried by every person above the age of 18 staying at Coconut Peninsula. The identification proofs accepted are Aadhar Card, Driving License, Voter ID Card, and Passport. Note that PAN card is not acceptable. Without an original copy of a valid ID, you will not be allowed to check-in.
  • Early check-in or late check-out is not at all possible.
  • Mandatory for any Non-Resident Indians/Foreigners to produce their passport and valid visa at the time of arrival.
  • Children below 5 years of age sharing with parents would be complimentary.

PRIVACY POLICY

  • Coconut Peninsula welcomes you to its website (www.coconutpeninsularesort.com) and looks forward to a meaningful interaction with you. Coconut Peninsula respects your right to privacy. Any personal information that you share with us, like your name, date of birth, address, marital status, telephone number, credit card particulars and the like, shall be entitled to privacy and kept confidential.
  • Coconut Peninsula assures you that your personal information shall not be used/disclosed by it, save for the purpose of doing the intended business with you, or if required to be disclosed under the due process of law.
  • Coconut Peninsula collects personal information only when it is required for business purposes
  • Coconut Peninsula reserves its rights to collect, analyse and disseminate aggregate site usage patterns of all its visitors with a view to enhancing services to its visitors. This includes sharing the information with its holding company as a general business practice.

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Only food and beverage items provided by Coconut Peninsula are to be consumed on the premises.
  • Pan masala (gutka), Smoking and other chewing items are strictly prohibited.
  • The client is liable for any damage caused to Using property or equipment by the client or the client’s guest visiting them.
  • No prohibited articles, flammable articles, or commercial goods are allowed to be stored inside the room.
  • Professional photography & videography such as Pre-Wedding Shoot, Model Photography, Music Album, Film shooting etc. are not allowed without prior permission from the Coconut Peninsula management.
  • No unlawful behaviour is permitted.
  • Cooking or any ignition is not allowed in the room.
  • Coconut Peninsula reserves the right of admission.
  • Management does not take responsibility for valuables left in room.
  • Pets are not allowed.

MANAGEMENT RIGHTS

Coconut Peninsula management reserves for itself the absolute right of admission to any person in the premises and to request any guest to vacate his or her room at any moment without any previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever. The guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In default, the management will be entitled to remove the luggage and belongings of the visitor from the room occupied by him or her – with a three-member committee in attendance – and lock the room or rent the room to another guest. This will only happen if the management finds the tourist is not in a good behavior, medical conditions or not going with the disciplinary law of the board.

If the management finds that the tourist activities are not fit for other tourist or for himself looking into the safety reasons it has a right to restrict. Guests may not move furnishings or interfere with the electrical network or any other installations in the rooms or on the premises of Coconut Peninsula without the consent of the Coconut Peninsula management. If any malfunction is discovered during your stay, please report this to the reception and we will repair this as soon as possible.
The restaurant & Lobby area are available for receiving visitors. The rooms cannot be used by more persons than originally booked, if more persons are admitted they will be charged accordingly. If the guest becomes ill or injured, the Coconut Peninsula can help with the provision of medical assistance or, as the case may be, to arrange for the guest to be taken to hospital, all at the guest’s expense.
The use of WIFI is Complimentary where we have WIFI but in specified locations. Note: Rack Rate, Special Rate & Taxes can change without any prior notice.

CANCELLATION/AMENDMENT POLICY

INDIVIDUAL BOOKING

If the reservation is cancelled/amended before 2weeks from the date of arrival, there will be no retention, except a banking administration fee no more than 5% on the refund value will be charged against all processed refunds.
If the reservation is cancelled/amended before 1-2weeks then 75% of the amount will be refunded.
If the reservation is cancelled/amended before 3days then 50% of the amount will be refunded.
If cancelled on the day of arrival entire amount for stay will be charged as retention. For Bad weather condition full amount paid will be refunded, except a banking administration fee no more than 5% on the refund value will be charged against all processed refunds.

All the cancellations will be processed within 10 working days.

GROUP BOOKING/ RESIDENTIAL WEDDING

If the reservation is cancelled/amended before 15 days of the date of arrival, 75% of the amount will be refunded.
Within 7 – 15 days of the date of arrival, 50% of the booking will be charge will be refunded.
Less than 7 days of the date of arrival, entire amount for stay will be charged as retention.

All the cancellations will be processed within 10 working days.

DEPOSIT POLICY

Full advance of the entire room stay will be taken as advance payment for all walk-ins at the time of arrival or online same day reservation.

RESIDENTIAL WEDDING

REFUND POLICY

Refunds are possible on all bookings based on Coconut Peninsula’s cancellation policy. Non-refundable bookings are extremely special rates issued based on guaranteed bookings after fulfilling all criteria requirements. Such bookings received through any channel will not be refunded.
For eligible cases, while all efforts will be made to initiate the refund at the earliest, any refund will take a period of two to four weeks to be affected. This time period is due to factors which may include but not be limited to your credit card company’s billing cycle tallying, confirmation of amounts received against the particular booking and receipt of all bank requirements to where the refund is to be directed amongst others including management approval.
If a “Refund Hold” has been requested, this will be treated as a credit note against your next booking within the next 3 months of travel according to the availability. Rates for your booking however are subject to change depending on the season / availability and the differential amount is payable / adjustable.
If a simple “Refund” has been requested, the process will start immediately but shall take two to four weeks to reflect in your bank account. In cases where there may be mass cancellations for reasons such as natural calamities, acts of terror, strikes / bandhs where the banking service may be affected, refunds will be processed when regular operations restart.
Refunds will not be entertained due to flight or train cancellations.
A banking administration fee no more than 5% on the refund value will be charged against all processed refunds.
For GST refunds, the same is as per the applicable law.

CHILD POLICY

No extra charge for occupants below 5yrs. sharing the existing bed with parents. Extra charge for occupants above 5 yrs. sharing the existing bed with parents. Extra bed charges will be applicable for occupants above 5 yrs. sharing with extra bed with parents.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Illegal activities are not permitted in Coconut Peninsula’s property.
Coconut Peninsula may refuse service or evict you,
a) For refusal or failure to pay for accommodation,
b) If you act in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests,
c) If you destroy, damage, deface or threaten harm to hotel property or guests,
d) Any of your actions are deemed inappropriate by Coconut Peninsula.
Please keep the room in a good condition and maintain hygiene and cleanliness. You may be held liable for any damage to Coconut Peninsula’s assets (except normal wear and tear)

PRIVACY

Coconut Peninsula respects the privacy of the users of this Site. Your use of the Site is subject to Coconut Peninsula’s Privacy Policy. By using our site, you consent to your personal information being processed as set out in our Privacy Policy.

GOVERNING LAW

Substantive laws of the Republic of India

ARBITRATION

In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with the subject matter of this agreement, parties / guests agree to refer such dispute to arbitration to be conducted under the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration, India (“LCIA India”). Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted before a Sole Arbitrator to be mutually appointed by the parties. If parties are unable to agree on a sole arbitrator, such sole arbitrator shall be appointed as provided for under the LCIA India Rules.  Seat of such arbitration shall be in Cuttack and proceedings shall be conducted in English. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.
